The C7YP coaching staff is comprised of former collegiate athletes, we know what it takes to get to the next level. Across the team, we have extensive experience training young women and men athletes from the grade school level to professional athletics.

Our team is extremely passionate about helping young athletes succeed. With personalized training plans and expert guidance, our athletes receive the attention and knowledgeable support that is crucial in their development.

Mental Skills

Develop the mental toughness and resilience needed to overcome challenges and perform under pressure.

Mental toughness and resilience enable young athletes to cope effectively with the pressures and challenges of competition, training, and setbacks. By cultivating a resilient mindset, athletes can maintain focus, confidence, and motivation even in the face of adversity.

Building mental toughness and resilience also promotes psychological well-being and emotional stability in young athletes. Sports participation often comes with various stressors, including performance expectations, criticism, and the fear of failure. Developing resilience equips athletes with the psychological skills to manage stress, regulate emotions, and maintain a positive outlook despite challenges.

Injury Prevention.

Injuries are limited by ensuring that athletes perform exercises with correct form and mechanics, coaches can minimize the risk of injury due to poor biomechanics or faulty movement patterns.

C7YP will also take into account factors such as age, skill level, injury history, and training status, coaches can prescribe appropriate exercise volumes, intensities, and progressions to optimize performance while minimizing the risk of overtraining and injury.

REBUILD

In addition to the mobility exercises programmed into every C7YP class, Cut Seven offers Rebuild classes. This custom-designed program increases mobility in the ankles, hip flexors, shoulders, and other joints to ensure athletes get the most out of every exercise, every class.

Optimal mobility is essential for achieving peak athletic performance. By enhancing joint flexibility and range of motion, mobility training enables athletes to move more freely and powerfully, improving overall athletic performance. Increased mobility allows athletes to generate greater force, speed, and explosiveness in their movements, leading to improved agility, coordination, and athleticism on the field or court.
