Your health matters to us — both on and off the turf. In accordance with CDC and District of Columbia guidelines, Cut Seven adheres to a number of safety measures at our open-air studio and field workouts.
As of December 21, 2021, all athletes are required to be fully vaccinated to attend a Cut Seven class, at both indoor and outdoor locations. Please email a copy of your vaccine passport to info@cutseven.com, or bring your vaccine passport to class. Please note: All Cut Seven staff — including owners, athletes, and captains, are fully vaccinated.
If you are not fully vaccinated, please email info@cutseven.com to temporarily freeze your membership. You can also join us for virtual workouts on Cut Seven Play.
In accordance with current DC guidelines, athletes are not required to wear masks for any Cut Seven location (including indoor workouts). If wearing a mask makes you more comfortable, we encourage you to do so.
For your comfort, we offer PPE packs for purchase at our open-air studio. They include a bag, towel, and neck gaiter.
Any athlete, captain, or coach showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be turned away from class, with athletes being refunded their class credit). All captains and coaches experiencing symptoms are required to take a COVID-19 test before returning to class.
Cut Seven is happy to freeze the membership of any athlete quarantine due to travel, exposure, or symptoms.
To increase space between athletes, we currently operate at 75% class occupancy.
We enforce a mandatory self-quarantine for all unvaccinated staff who visited a high-risk state or who were potentially exposed until they pass a COVID-19 test prior to returning to work.
We ask all unvaccinated athletes to self-quarantine after visiting a high-risk state or potentially exposing yourself to the virus. Get tested with a viral test 3-5 days after travel AND stay home and self-quarantine for a full seven days after travel. Even if you test negative, stay home and self-quarantine for the full seven days. If you don’t get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel. A list of high-risk states can be found here and is updated every two weeks.
We use a disinfectant that is EPA-certified to combat viruses, including those that cause COVID-19.
We disinfect equipment in-between classes. Deep cleaning takes place throughout the day, with careful attention paid to high-traffic areas, including equipment, door handles, and bathrooms.
When entering our studios, we recommend athletes sanitize their hands. Athletes have access to touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout each location.
Amenities vary according to the class location (please view the Locations page for more detailed information). The 1101 Rhode Island studio offers two restrooms, water fountains, and towel service. Our open-air studio on Swann Street has a single restroom and water fountain, so we ask athletes to come prepared for class to limit overcrowding.
If athletes would like water or a protein beverage (available at the studios, only), they should ask their captain before or after class. Please make sure that you have a credit card on file for all purchases.
At the 1101 Rhode Island Ave location, we’ve installed new, state-of-the-art HVAC HEPA filters that have Plasma Air Ionization and standing air purifiers, which can reduce coronavirus spread.
You understand that by entering Cut Seven’s studio or participating in any Cut Seven fitness activity, you are expressly and voluntarily assuming the risk of contracting the COVID-19 virus. Cut Seven has implemented a variety of reasonable safety precautions, but the risk of being exposed to the virus, which is extremely contagious and potentially lethal, remains. If you are sick, do not feel well, have been notified that you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, or suspect that you have been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, please stay home.
