COVID-19 Procedures

Your health matters to us — both on and off the turf. In accordance with CDC and District of Columbia guidelines, Cut Seven adheres to a number of safety measures at our open-air studio and field workouts.

Disinfectant Cleaning

We use a disinfectant that is EPA-certified to combat viruses, including those that cause COVID-19.

We disinfect equipment between each station and in-between classes. A deep cleaning takes place throughout the day, with careful attention paid to high-traffic areas, including equipment, door handles, and bathrooms.

Hand Sanitizing

When entering the open-air studio, we require athletes to sanitize their hands using a touchless hand sanitizer, sprayed by our captains. Athletes have access to six touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout the studio.

At our field workouts, hand sanitizer is provided at each station.

Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)

We enforce a strict mandatory face mask policy for coaches, captains, and athletes. Athletes are required to wear face masks before class, during demos, in-between stations, and after class. If athletes forget their PPE, a mask will be provided (while supplies last).

Health Checks

At our open-air studio, captains use a touchless thermometer to take each athlete’s temperature. If an athlete’s temperature reads 100.4 degrees or higher, they will be asked to leave and return when they are feeling well. If an athlete must leave, their class credit will be returned back to their account; for unlimited members, no fee will be assessed.

Coaches and captains have their temperature checked before each shift. If an elevated temperature is detected, their shift will be covered by another staff member.

Quarantine Procedures

We enforce a mandatory self-quarantine for all staff (coaches and captains) who visited a high-risk state or who were potentially exposed until they pass a COVID-19 test prior to returning to work.

Athletes, we also ask that you quarantine after visiting a high-risk state or potentially exposing yourself to the virus. Per DC guidance, if you are returning from a high-risk state or have been exposed, please do not attend a class until you complete a self-quarantine for 14 days or until you pass a COVID test (suggested to be taken 2-5 days after the last day of potential exposure). A list of high-risk states can be found here and is updated every two weeks.

Social Distancing

At the open-air studio, athletes are asked to wait outside, socially distanced, until they are welcomed into the space before class start time. At the field, you are welcome and encouraged to enter prior to class (we simply ask you stay six feet apart from your fellow teammates).

At the studio and at the field, stations and exercises are set-up to ensure at least six feet of distance between athletes. Please note, your coaches will practice social distancing while instructing — physical adjustments are not permitted at this time.

amenities and purchases

To limit hand-to-hand contact, bathroom amenities and hair ties are not available at this time. Please come fully prepared for class, as there will not be a changing area.

If athletes would like water or a protein beverage (available at the studio, only), they should ask their captain before or after class. Please make sure that you have a credit card on file for all purchases.

PPE Packs

For your comfort, we offer PPE packs for purchase at our open-air studio. They include a bag, towel, neck gaiter, and hand sanitizer.
